Member Spotlight: Pamela Petteys “I started out as a teller, like every employee here does, and now supervise two employees,” she says. Pamela lives in Lake Luzerne with her husband of 22 years. They have a 17-year-old daughter who plans on studying marketing at Adirondack Community College. Biggest challenge Dealing with the changes a new CEO brings. Greatest benefit of Council membership Finding out the latest news by e-mail and learning from the information others post on the Listserv. I attended the Security Institute and really enjoyed the interaction with other credit union professionals. I also appreciate the discounts for seminars. Best part of my job Working with everyone here—we’re like family. Hardest part of my job Keeping up with all the changes! Hobbies/interests Antiques, my two dogs, and being outdoors. People would be most surprised to learn that . . . I like to work outside. Favorite books/publications Credit Union Magazine Life goal not yet achieved Becoming a branch manager. Something that always makes me laugh My Jack Russell dog. If I had an extra hour in the day I would . . . Spend it with my family.
