Janet Walters has worked in the financial industry for over 33 years—twenty of those with a credit union. Her area of expertise is domestic and international credit union operations. She currently is vice president of branch support for USA Federal Credit Union in San Diego, and lives in nearby Spring Valley, California.

Meeting new friends and learning from others. It’s beneficial to learn what others are doing to make a difference. I love meeting, sharing, and hearing what innovative and creative ideas other credit unions are doing.

Balancing the needs of the organization with the expectations of the membership.

Taking time out of my day just to visualize what ispossible and planning strategies to achieve the desired results.

Hobbies/interests

Sewing, computers, watching classic movies, and of course watching All My Children for the past 30 years.
