Patsy Gayda, Director of Branch Operations, Spokane Teachers CU, Spokane, WA

For our grandparents and parents, for ourselves and for our children — for each successive generation, the credit union movement has redefined what it means to be “people helping people” and risen to the challenge of meeting changing needs.

Over the next several years, we'll be called once more to remap our mission — responding to regulators, engaging an evolving economy, confronting competitors, and teasing from technology ever-greater benefits. I'd ask to share in this responsibility, putting my two decades of credit union leadership to the service of the CUNA OpSS Executive Committee.

I'm Patsy Gayda, and I'm grateful for your support.

Bill Thomas, VP Business Solutions & Support, United Nations FCU, New York, NY

I welcome the opportunity to serve in a leadership position on the CUNA OpSS Council. With over 18 years of credit union experience, I recognize the unique challenges faced by credit unions both large and small in today's economic and regulatory environment and feel that the Council can help us deal with those issues. As Operations professionals, we have the opportunity to keep our credit unions both relevant and competitive. If elected, one of the key things I would bring to this role is the knowledge I have gained in leveraging technology to enhance service to our members. Thank you.

Steve Langley (incumbent), VP Sales/Service/Training, Travis CU, Vacaville, CA

Greetings! I have had the opportunity to serve on the Executive Committee of the OpSS Council over this past year and respectfully request your consideration for election for this upcoming term. I currently serve as co-chair of the Member Resources Committee and am a member of the Conference Committee. I'm confident that my extensive background in both operations and sales & service will bring value to this dynamic team. As ‘Sales & Service Champion' for my organization, I coach, mentor and guide our leaders towards success in improving our member's financial lives. I have been involved in many credit union industry activities in career to include service as Past-President of our local CU League Chapter. I often volunteer my services as a public speaker at many industry related events including several OpSS Conferences.

Thank you for this opportunity and I look forward to serving you in the future!

Becky Davis, VP Branch Operations, Delta Community CU, Atlanta, GA

I've been a dedicated member of the CUNA Operations/Sales & Service Council since October, 2006. I've been a member of the Membership Committee for four years and the Conference Committee for three. I take pride in what we've accomplished. The time I've volunteered for various meetings and projects has been rewarding. I believe our organization provides many opportunities and benefits to credit union professionals. I have certainly gained much insight from my peers through my involvement. I am committed to the continued success of our organization and would be honored to serve as a member of the Executive Committee.
